The Great Race
The annual Great Race from Trinidad and Tobago is usually held on the lst Saturday in July over a distance of 86 miles. Over the years the race has attracted entries from the United States, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Caribbean. Powerboat racing is increasing becoming popular with local designers and manufacturers making significant advances in speed and dependability.
