Sisters Isles - Tobago Scuba Diving Site
In the Caribbean Sea on the northern coast are a group of small islands. Take a boat ride from Bloody Bay for about a 45 minute. This is one of Tobago's wall dives and would be better for advanced divers as you will find strong currents or surges.
Located approx. 1.5 miles from land on the Caribbean side of Tobago are the "Sisters", a group of rocks about 100ft high out of the water. They sink down to 150ft around the rocks this creates a slope which is covered in soft corals; because of the distance from land and the depth of water large pelagic fish congregate here.
This dive site is characterized by a group of 5 huge rocks that rise from a sandy bottom all the way up to the surface. These rocks are divided into two dive sites: the Inner Sisters and the Outer Sisters. The Outer Sisters comprises the west side of the rocks that fall steeply to a sandy bottom at 36 meters in depth. The Inner Sisters to the east side comprises the west of the rocks. The margin of the reef features a variety of marine life and vegetation that's different from the Outer Sisters.

On many dives we have seen Whale and Hammerhead sharks in the area and in the rocks live Turtles, Moray eels and Lobsters.
There is a slight drift and this helps push the diver along as with all our drift dives the dive master carries a surface marker which the boat follows.
Travelling by boat to sisters also gives the diver an opportunity to see the beauty of the Caribbean coast.
A Whale Shark!
Occasionally seen around Tobago, These sharks can grow up to 55ft. They often sunbathe on the surface and seem to ignore divers.
